기원

Giwon (祈願, "to wish for") is a postcard series that visualizes the hopes and wishes people carry. Stacking stone towers, bowing before totem poles, prayer beads, moon-gazing — each illustration captures a different gesture of hoping, rendered as a minimal graphic series. Concept, illustration, and design were all done independently.

기원(祈願), 바란다는 뜻 그대로 사람들의 소원과 소망을 담은 마음을 그래픽 엽서로 표현한 작업이다. 돌탑 쌓기, 장승 앞에서 절하기, 염주, 달맞이 등 저마다 다른 방식으로 바라는 순간들을 미니멀한 일러스트 시리즈로 담았다. 기획부터 일러스트, 디자인까지 전 과정을 직접 진행했다.
